So after months of (minimal) planning the three amigos have embarked on their mighty adventure.
It felt like a typical overseas send off with the standard pre flight hangover (post a few teary goodbyes at the Carine Tavern) backed up by a mad rush to pack the bags within the departure hour.
I will provide a run down of the travel gear at a later stage, however the last minute decision to purchase the 85L Osprey travel pack over the 65er (not to mention the 36L day pack also) was a great idea. Somehow I checked them in almost bursting at the seams, with my entire mountaineering outfit still to be purchased in Nepal.
Simon and Ben felt the necesity to purchase cute little matching koala pillows, just incase anybody doubted they were true travelling companions.
Moments after watching my bags roll down the conveyer belt towards the aircraft along with my entire stash of Diazepam, I realized there were going to be 3 looong flights to Nepal..
